I find that planning my outfits in advance for the week helps to save time and angst in the morning when I am getting ready for work or other activities.
Depending on how many clothes we have it is sometimes hard to see the wood for the trees in our wardrobes and we can end up wearing the same things over and over, missing the hidden gems.
An organised wardrobe and good planning can result in more variety in what we wear and better utilisation of our clothes and accessories. In reality, most women only wear about 20% of what is in their wardrobe which is such a waste.
There are a number of ways in which you can plan including writing a list or taking photos of your outfits and saving them on your phone or in an app.
My preferred method is to hang my outfits on a portable clothing rack, where I can mix and match with accessories until I am happy. I also use this rack when I am planning a travel wardrobe. This photo contains my outfits for a trip to Thailand I took earlier in the year.
You can get portable clothing racks from a number of places and you don't need to spend a lot of money. This one was only $19 from Kmart.
